Last Couple of Weeks

These last few weeks have been quite exciting for the Society.  We have had so many different events, and most of them I have not been able to get on Facebook, or here on the blog.  Tuesday the 7th many of us attended the discussion on Abortion.  We all read an article entitled "Abortion Theologically Understood" by Stanley Hauerwauss.  What an excellent article, which spurred some very good discussion.  It also raised quite a few questions.  What is the churches role in the political realm?  What does our praxis of the gospel look like?  Thanks for all who attended that!  Then on that Friday, many of us were able to go to the Synagogue as well.  We attended Temple of Aaron Synagogue in St. Paul.  Along with the gorgeous snow, it made for a delightful evening.  On Tuesday the 14th, we had our end of year Christmas Party.  I have posted some photos from these events below.  Merry Christmas everyone.  Have a great break!
